A research team from Swinburne University said that this tiny antenna can do all other function of a typical antenna but the specialty of this transmitter is that it works with the signal of light instead of sound wave.

The researchers said more that this tiny antenna/transmitter can create it’s own replica.In a result it can lessen a big structure of signal into small signal, again the reverse can also be possible. That mean this antenna can work as a amplifier.
